September

Summer is over and school is back in for Kelly, but at least its his senior year...FINALLY. This year he will spend the whole time with the University of Utah football team instead of doing rotations of different schools and sports for athletic training. The football schedule is rough. He is at school 7 days a week...so when I tell people he is never home, they think I mean Monday-Friday but when they find out its 7 days pretty much every ones reaction is the same. "that sucks" yes, yes it does. He travels with the team to all away games and Saturday home games he is there all day.Hopefully since the world is obsessed with football this will open extra opportunities for Med school when that time comes.

Kenley and I have  just enjoyed the warm weather, I'm not excited for winter or snow. I hate driving to work in the snow.

Scavenging for berries and pears. She became an expert at finding "baiwees".

Having fun one night at Echo reservoir. She warmed up to the water, eventually

Lined up her babies, proud of it

smoot park on a warm day, playing in the water. Reminds me of doing things like this when I was little

Play date with Bradley. Kenley pretty much calls all little boys Bradley. This was her first time at Kangaroo zoo and she liked it a lot more than I expected.

The fair! We didn't go last year because of rain. It was so fun to take Kenley on rides and the big yellow slide. She cried after we went down the slide and kept saying "Again! Again!"

She is obsessed with "dine-sin-saurs".
She picked out some new jammies and was set on dinosaur ones.
I love how she pronounces dinosaurs right now.
Dine-sin-saurs!!

August

Kelly spend all of August in Nashville doing an internship with the Tennessee Titans. Lucky for us, Kenley and I got to go visit for a few days.
I was really nervous that Kenley wouldn't do good on the flights but she was perfect. Our first flight was delayed and then on our way to Dallas we got diverted because of "weather". So we ended up in Abilene for about an hour to refuel while we sat and then headed to Dallas, where we caught out flight to Tennessee. We couldn't see Kelly very much except for nights so Kenley and I explored Nashville.

It was so pretty. We went to Franklin for dinner with Kelly and found a park to play at.

Everything is green and pretty and not too big of a city.
The next day I took Kenley to the restaurant The aquarium with lots of fish.

I thought she would love it but she didn't care too much and it took forever to order and eat. We also went to the Disney store where I let her pic out some toys.

She loves her babies. We went to one of the Titans public practices and Kenley kept repeating the coaches and what they yelled.

It was very hot and humid that day. On our last day we went to a little splash pad and pedestrian bridge then Travis came into town and we went to dinner and one of the main parks
It was so fun traveling with Kenley and so much easier than i expected. On our way home our flight from Denver to Salt lake was delayed 6 hours. That was a lot of time at the airport. We spent 80% of the time on the moving walk ways.

Kelly did really well and had a wonderful experience in Nashville. It will look really good on his med school applications and he made a lot of connections which will hopefully help us in the future.

July

July Kelly did the STP (Seattle to Portland) bike ride. He rode 206 miles in one day, because hes crazy and that is his idea of fun. We headed up to Oregon and Kenley and I stayed in Portland for Friday-Sunday while Kelly went to Seattle Friday and road into portland Saturday,

Kenley and I explored Portland...which was busy, with horrible traffic and crazy roads. We went to the children's museum the zoo and walked around.

Saturday night we went to the finish line to watch for Kelly, his dad and two other rider friends. It was very exciting to see him come through.

The rest of the week we spent in seaside and it was so nice to have Kelly home and with us for a solid week.

We also spent a lot of time swimming and going to splash pads which kenley finally likes

June

Summer!
Kellys first summer without classes in a while

Kenley wore some pig tails to church. Shes crazy at church and most times it seems pointless to go but we do. Shes very into her eyes, saying eyes, poking peoples eyes. She also really likes ice and if you ask her if she wants some ice she will point to her eyes. They are easily mixed up for her.

 She loves to feed herself

For my birthday we went to dinner at taggert grill and went on a bike ride near Ogden canyon. On my birthday we hiked Bells canyon, it was super hot but a fun hike. Kenley is still getting used to her backpack and doesnt love it. She would way rather hike around herself.

May

We went on a cruise to Mexico. It was so much fun to have everyone together for a full week.
Kenley did pretty good on the cruise, She was to young to do any of the kid activities but we had so much fun with her.
One of the best things we did was swim with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta, even  Kenley liked it. We got to do a lot of extras and the place even had a water park.

Sadly right before the cruise we had to put hershey down. The last year she really went downhill health wise and right before we left she got really sick for three days. We did what was best but she is missed by us all. For about two weeks after, Kenley would crawl around looking for hersh.
